The Incredible Years A Parent-Child Group Training Program
Does your child refuse to do what you ask? Do you find yourself constantly arguing with your child? Does it seem like your child is overly confrontational? Do you find yourself yelling at your child?
"The Incredible Years" is a group training program for parents and children. It is designed to help improve the quality of the parent-child relationship by teaching parents the skills needed to manage their child's behavior and by teaching children the skills needed to manage their emotions and control their behavior.
Parents will learn how to: *Handle Misbehavior *Effectively Set Limits *Praise and Reward your Child
Children will learn how to: *Do Their Best in School *Learn to Follow Rules *Understand Their Feelings *Solve Problems
Who can participate? Children between the ages of 3 and 8 with cooperation problems and their parents or primary caregivers (grandparents, foster parents, adoptive parents). Childcare is provided for younger siblings.
What will it cost? There is no cost to the family. The program is made possible through Community Service and ADECA grants.
Where and when do we meet? "The Incredible Years" is a six-week program that lasts from 6:00 to 7:30PM. Please sign-up below and we will contact you in order to let you know where and when the next program will be held.
