VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES The CAC has many volunteer opportunities. Each volunteer must obtain a criminal background and fingerprint check before they can volunteer directly with the children. The safety of the children we serve is our first priority. Below you will find a form to fill out if you are interested in a volunteer position. Shalverri Stinson will contact you and set up a time for you to come and learn about the CAC.

Volunteers with completed background checks are needed to entertain children at the CAC while the family waits for the child to testify in court. There is a need for transportation of families to come to the CAC for therapy sessions, volunteer coordinator, and mentoring for children that need a careing grown-up in their life, help with writing the news letter, gathering and interpretation of data for grants, grant writing, speaking engagements on mandated reporting, and corresponce with previous clients. For people that like to volunteer from home, stringing of the "Rainbows of Hope" bracelets, can be done off-site from our building. Any of the activities would be a great help to the children the CAC serves as well as the CAC staff.
